Frequently Asked Questions
Our groomers will personally meet with you to discuss your pet’s specific needs and recommend just the right service. Due to different breeds, condition of coat and time required to complete services, package prices are determined after your pet is assessed at the pet spa. Our most common package is $35 for almost all dogs under 20lbs.
The amount of time it takes for pet grooming varies by breed and service, but you can usually plan on it taking between 60-90 minutes. Express services can be arranged upon request, shortening service time. Minor services, such as nail trims, take approximately 10 minutes and no appointment is necessary. Wait time may apply.
Booking an appointment for a grooming service ahead of time ensures that you (and, more importantly, your pet) get in to see us when needed. We tend to be especially busy, so appointments are highly recommended. We’re happy to take walk-ins, but there rarely available.
We never sedate pets. If your dog or cat has been known to have a strong behavioral reaction to grooming or bathing, please advise us when dropping off. If a pet is truly uncooperative or made uncomfortable by the process, we might end the session – but we will never sedate your pet.
Yes, Cat Grooming services are available though Carol only. She will personally meet with you to discuss your pet’s specific needs and recommend just the right service. In order to maintain a safe, comfortable environment, we do require all pets to be current on their rabies vaccinations and to wait at least 48 hours after shots before checking in. The waiting period helps to ensure your pet isn’t sore at the injection site, which can cause irritability or lethargy. Puppies and kittens between 8 weeks and 4 months of age may receive services in the salon without vaccinations.
We ensure that each groomer is qualified to care for your pet. We pride ourselves on having the highest safety and quality standards in the industry.
While we do kennel dry some dogs, we understand that it isn’t safe for certain breeds. We always towel dry first to minimize the amount of time spent in the kennel. If you have any questions or would like to discuss the best drying process for your dog, please be sure to speak with a groomer when booking your dog grooming appointment.
Pets are cared for in our private fiberglass kennels. We keep kennel time as minimal as possible, and there is someone on hand to check on your pets at all times.
We would love to provide this service to you, but unfortunately most flea and tick topicals require application 48 hours before or after the bath.
Yes you may stay but, for the safety of pets, we don’t allow pet parents to assist with grooming or to stay in the grooming kennel or bathing areas.
At check-in, we will perform a thorough assessment and discuss your pet’s needs with you to make sure the most appropriate services are selected.
